JK Tyre Expands Eastern India Distribution Network

JK Tyre & Industries is ramping up its marketing and distribution network in West Bengal and the Northeast, with plans to increase branded retail shops in West Bengal from 31 to 40 this year. The expansion targets truck and passenger car radial segments in metro and Tier-II/III cities. The Northeast already contributes 40% of the companys PCR sales in eastern India. With a current network of over 800 outlets in the region, the company aims for 25% revenue growth this year, compared to Rs. 15,000 crore revenue in the last financial year, significantly outpacing market growth estimates.
