JSL Super Steel inks solar energy deal with Sunsure

Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL)

JSL Super Steel, a Jindal Stainless subsidiary, signed a long-term power purchase agreement with Sunsure Energy to source 11 MWp solar power from a 49 MWp project in Uttar Pradesh. This will supply 16.5 MUs annually, reducing conventional energy use by 40% and offsetting 12 million kg of carbon emissions yearly.
