JSW Steel has been declared the preferred bidder for Codli mineral block XII in Goa, with the highest final offer price of 92.60% of the mineral’s dispatched value. The projected iron ore resources in the block are 48.5 million tonnes, along with 2.7 million tonnes in dumps. The company will now take necessary steps to obtain the Letter of Intent and statutory clearances to execute the lease deed and begin mining operations.
