Karnataka Allocates Rs 413.71 Crore for BBMP Hospital Upgrades

Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP)

The Karnataka State Cabinet has sanctioned Rs.413.71 crore to revamp BBMP-run hospitals under the Brand Bengaluru scheme. The plan includes constructing new buildings to replace old ones, upgrading 13 hospitals to 30-bed and five hospitals to 50-bed capacities, and establishing 22 dental and seven physiotherapy hospitals.
