Karnataka Greenlights Mega Projects Generating 27,000 Jobs

The Karnataka government has recently given the nod to projects worth a staggering ?17,835.9 crore, promising to create 27,000 employment opportunities in the state. Among the approved ventures are six new projects and eight additional investment proposals. Notably, Wistron Infocomm Manufacturing India leads the pack with a proposed investment of ?2,095 crore, set to employ 21,723 individuals. Other major initiatives endorsed by the government include Air India Limited with ?1,750 crore investments, ICT Service Management Solutions (India) Private Limited with ?1,450 crore, STT Global Data Centres India Private Limited with ?1,352.3 crore, and Indian Cane Power Limited with ?1,078 crore. This move marks a significant boost to Karnataka’s economic landscape and job market.
