Karnataka Plans ?2,000 Crore Cauvery Water Project for Industries

Karnataka has hired a consultant to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for a ?2,000 crore Cauvery water supply project dedicated to industrial zones in Bengaluru. The initiative, led by the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board, aims to address the water needs of semiconductor firms and manufacturing industries amid depleting groundwater levels.
