Kerala Fast-Tracks Rs. 636-Crore Oasis Distillery Project

Oasis Commercial plans to setup a distillery project at Vengodi in Palakkad, Kerala over 23.93 acres of land. The project plans to establish a 500 KLPD (Kilolitres Per Day) multi-feed manufacturing unit for ethanol and Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA), along with an IMFL (Indian-Made Foreign Liquor) bottling unit, brewery, and malt units, to be implemented in four phases, using raw materials like broken rice, maize, and vegetable waste. The Kerala State Single Window Clearance Board directed all departments to complete pending formalities and issue final state-level approvals.
