The Environment Ministry has granted clearance for the construction of Kota’s Greenfield Airport, setting the stage for a major boost in the region’s infrastructure. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) plans to initiate construction by May 2025 after all required approvals are in place. Targeted for completion in December 2027, the airport will enhance connectivity for Kota, a prominent coaching hub, positioning it as a critical regional transit point once operational.
