KPC Gas Power Corporation has secured statutory authorization for its 600 TPD waste-to-energy plant in Bidadi under SWM Rules. The facility has processed 2 lakh metric tonnes of waste and generated 70 million units of electricity. The approval, valid till June 2028, resolves earlier compliance issues and ensures continued operations for municipal waste-based power generation.
