LTI Mindtree Wins PAN 2.0 Project Contract

LTI Mindtree Ltd has secured a contract from the central government to implement the Income Tax Department’s PAN 2.0 project, which aims to create a unified digital-first platform for managing PAN and TAN services. The system will streamline allotment, updates, Aadhaar-PAN linking, re-issuance, validation, and grievance redressal. LTI Mindtree will act as the Managed Service Provider for the end-to-end delivery, including design, development, and maintenance. The Rs.1,435 crore project was approved by the CCEA on November 25, 2024, and is expected to go live in 18 months.
