Ludhiana Municipal Corporation Launches Legacy Waste Management Projects

Ludhiana Municipal Corporation has launched two major projects to address legacy waste management. One project, located at the Jamalpur site, focuses on bio-remediation of 19.62 lakh metric tonnes of waste, while the other will handle over 2 lakh metric tonnes at the Jainpur site. The facilities are expected to be established within two to four months. The Jamalpur project, aims to complete the bio-remediation process within two years. The plant installation will be carried out by a contractor.
