Magpet Polymers has successfully secured ?205 crore in funding to establish India’s largest integrated bottle-to-bottle recycling plant in Kharagpur, West Bengal. This facility will be the country’s first single-line food-grade recycling plant, encompassing the entire PET-bottle recycling value chainfrom collecting used bottles to processing, washing, and converting them into flakes or granules, ultimately producing new bottles. With an annual capacity of 45,000 metric tonnes, the plant aims to manufacture food-grade recycled PET (rPET) pellets.
