Maharashtra CM Approves ?29,550 Cr Mega Projects in Ratnagiri

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde has approved two mega projects in Ratnagiri, totaling ?29,550 crore. The first, by Vellore Information Technology Park, involves a high-tech silicon wafer and fabs manufacturing facility in Watad and Zadgaon MIDC areas, with an investment of ?19,550 crore. The second project, by Reliance Infrastructure, focuses on aerospace and defence material manufacturing, with ?10,000 crore invested and 4,500 jobs to be created. This marks the states first major aerospace and defence initiative.
