The Maharashtra government announces plans to allocate 5,000 hectares of industrial land in the Maoist-affected Gadchiroli district. This initiative involves acquiring government land in Chamorshi, Mulchea, Armori, and Sironcha for industrial development. During his visit, State Industries Minister Uday Samant presented consent letters to Varad Alloys and Lloyds Metals and Energy Limited (LMEL) for the allotment of over 80 hectares and 950 hectares, respectively, encouraging industrial growth in the region.
