MCL floats Rs. 2,043 crore mining machinery tender

Mahanadi Coalfields has issued a Rs. 2,043.45 crore tender for hiring heavy earth moving machinery at the Hingula Open Cast Project in Odisha. The five-year contract covers drilling, excavation, loading, transportation, and dumping of 167.95 million cubic metres of material until exposure of Seam-II-D. The initiative aims to improve coal extraction efficiency and logistics. Bid submission closes on 26 February 2026.
