MIHAN India Delays Airport Re-Carpeting to Winter Following Passenger Concerns

The Airport Authority of India (AAI), overseeing the re-carpeting project at MIHAN India Limited (MIL), has postponed the runway maintenance initially planned for April. Responding to flyers’ inconvenience, the decision was made in a June 16 meeting to reschedule the work to winter, ensuring minimal disruption. The project, last conducted in 2014, will improve the runway’s condition without affecting flight schedules during peak travel times.
