MoPSW approves ?797.17 crore green hydrogen and ammonia jetty at Paradip Port

The Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways (MoPSW) has approved the development of a dedicated 4.0 MTPA capacity jetty at Paradip Port for handling green hydrogen, ammonia, and liquid cargo. Estimated at ?797.17 crore (~$87 million), the project will be executed on a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis with a 24-month completion timeline. The infrastructure features a 279-meter dolphin-to-dolphin span and a 14.3-meter dredged depth to accommodate specialized vessels. Supported by ?159.43 crore in capital assistance (20% of project cost), this facility aims to integrate Odisha’s green hydrogen clusters with global export markets under the National Green Hydrogen Mission.
