Mumbai Port Authority to lease 28 plots for development

The Mumbai Port Authority plans to lease 28 plots covering over 217 acres along the eastern waterfront and Thal in Raigad district for 30 years, targeting annual revenue of Rs.814 crore. The sites include Wadala, Sewri, Reay Road, Colaba, Mazgaon, Sasson Dock, and Alibaug. Planned developments feature corporate hubs, IT parks, warehousing, godowns, and tourism facilities like a marina, amphitheatre, and landscaped zones. Residential projects are excluded. An expression of interest has been issued for 27 Mumbai sites and one Raigad site.
