Nagpur-Bhandara Highway Widening to Begin in 4 Months

The six-laning of the Nagpur-Bhandara highway is set to commence within four months, following the termination of the earlier BOT operators contract. With the DPR completed and minimal land acquisition needed, construction will start soon. Additionally, a 14.8-km six-lane Bhandara Bypass on NH-53, built at ?735 crore, has been inaugurated. The bypass includes major bridges and animal underpasses, aiming to ease congestion and improve connectivity under NHAI and Maharashtra PWD initiatives.
