Nagpur to Get Two Compact STPs for Nag River Project

Nagpur Environmental Services Limited (NESL)

Under the Nag River Pollution Abatement Project, two sewage treatment plants are planned at VNIT and Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (PDKV) in Nagpur. The proposed STPs will follow the Dharavi model, focusing on compact, high-capacity design for efficient land use. The initiative aims to curb the flow of untreated sewage into the Nag River. Tata Consultancy Services has been tasked with submitting a technical report to fast-track implementation of this crucial environmental infrastructure project.
