New Railway Station and Track Expansion Between Perambur and Ambattur

To ease congestion and enhance commuter comfort, Indian Railways is constructing two additional railway tracks between Perambur and Ambattur in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, covering a 6.4 km stretch. The project, estimated at ?182.10 crore, also includes the development of a state-of-the-art railway station at Perambur to support the increased capacity and improve passenger amenities.
