Patel Infrastructure Wins 187.5 MW BESS Project in Uttar Pradesh

Patel Infrastructure has secured a 187.5?MW/750?MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Uttar Pradesh under SJVN’s recent auction. The project will be developed on a build-own-operate (BOO) basis at a tariff of Rs. 3,59,000 per MW per month. It includes viability gap funding support of up to Rs. 2.7 million/MWh or 30% of the capital cost, whichever is lower. Patel Infrastructure will oversee the entire project lifecycle, including design, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance.
