Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC)

The Patna Integrated Solid Waste Management Project is an initiative to process 1,600 tonnes of daily waste at the Ramchak Bairiya site. Operating under the DBFOT model, the facility features a 15 MW waste-to-energy plant and a 100 TPD biomethanation unit to convert refuse into electricity and biogas. Serving Patna and 12 nearby municipalities, the project includes a compost plant and sanitary landfill, with an 18-month construction timeline once the re-tender is awarded.
