PM Modi Flags Off Delhi-Faridabad Metro Boosting Connectivity in the region

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Delhi-Faridabad Metro Line, facilitating seamless travel for approximately two lakh daily commuters between Delhi and Faridabad. The extension, connecting Badarpur to Escorts Mujesar, involved a total project cost of nearly ?2,500 crore. Funding contributions included ?1,557 crore from the Haryana Government, ?537 crore from the Centre, and ?400 crore from Delhi Metro. The new section features nine stations: Sarai, NHPC Chowk, Mewala Maharajpur, Sector 28, Badkal Mor, Old Faridabad, Neelam Chowk Ajronda, Bata Chowk, and Escorts Mujesar.
