Power Grid wins transmission project for REZ integration in Karnataka

Power Grid Corporation has emerged as the successful bidder under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding for a transmission scheme to integrate the Davanagere/Chitradurga and Bellary Renewable Energy Zones (REZ) in Karnataka. The project includes the establishment of a 765/400/220kV pooling substation near Davanagere/Chitradurga and a 400/220kV pooling substation near Bellary, along with 765kV and 400kV D/C transmission lines and upgrades to existing substations and transmission lines across Karnataka.
