Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates four major projects by Torrent Power in Uttar Pradesh, representing an investment of around Rs 250 billion. Among these projects are two pumped storage hydro projects totaling 4,150 MW capacity in Sonbhadra district and a 150 MW solar power plant in Lalitpur district, part of the Bundelkhand region. Additionally, a green hydrogen production facility in Gorakhpur, blending green hydrogen with the gas distribution network, signifies Torrent Group’s commitment to sustainable energy initiatives.
