Pune Metro Phase 1 Extension: 3 Bidders Qualify for Package P1A-C-02

Maha-Metro has announced that three bidders have qualified for Package P1A-C-02 of the Pune Metro Phase 1 Extension, which involves the 4.519 km extension of the Purple Line between Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) and Nigdi’s Bhakti Shakti. The scope of work includes civil construction of four elevated stationsChinchwad, Akurdi, Nigdi, and Bhakti Shakti. The qualified bidders are Godrej and Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd., and YFC BBG JV. The contract is part of an ongoing effort to expand the city’s metro infrastructure, with a completion deadline set for 90 weeks.
