Pune’s STP at Mahatma Phule Agricultural College Set to Move Forward

The long-delayed sewage treatment plant (STP) at Mahatma Phule Agricultural College in Ganeshkhind is set to progress after the Maharashtra State Biodiversity Board approved its construction. Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has approached the college management to acquire the land. This STP is a key component of the Mula Mutha river pollution abatement project, which involves building eleven STPs, with work already underway on ten of them.
