Ramco Cements Unveils Rs 1,650 Crore Capex Plan for FY24

Ramco Cements outlines a capital expenditure (capex) of Rs 1,650 crore for the fiscal year 2023-24, encompassing capacity expansions and land acquisitions in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Having spent Rs 1,225 crore in H1, an additional Rs 350 crore is earmarked for the remaining two quarters. Projects include Kolimigundla thermal power plant expansion, dry mix product facilities in AP and Odisha, and a grinding plant in Odisha. December 2023 will see commissioning, with a grinding plant expansion to 1.8 MTPA by January 2024, estimating Rs 200-250 crore capex for FY25. New projects, including waste heat recovery in Tamil Nadu, may further elevate FY25 capex.
