GE Vernova T&D India has received a letter of award from Power Grid Corporation of India for refurbishment of the 2×500 MW HVDC Chandrapur back-to-back link. The scope includes upgradation of HVDC thyristor valves and control and protection systems, covering design, supply, and execution over multiple years to improve grid reliability and efficiency.
