Remal Launches Aluminium Billet Casthouse

Remal Alcast has commissioned a new integrated aluminium billet casthouse at Vile Bhagad, Maharashtra, backed by the Star Group. The facility has an initial production of 2,300 tonnes of billets, with Phase II targeted by April 2026 to scale output to 4,500 tonnes per month. The project involves an investment of USD 50 million and aims to reach a final capacity of 7,800 tonnes per month with low-carbon billet production using renewable energy.
