Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Project Seeks Developers for 490 MW Floating Solar Ventures in Madhya Pradesh Reservoirs

Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Project (RUMSL) has issued two bids for the development of three floating solar projects, totaling 490 MW, in Madhya Pradesh reservoirs. Tender 1 calls for a 250 MW project at Birsinghpur Reservoir, with bids accepted until March 20, 2024. Tender 2 invites bids for 240 MW (2×120 MW) projects at Omkareshwar Reservoir, with a submission deadline of January 4, 2024. The initiatives aim to harness solar energy’s potential on water surfaces, contributing to the region’s renewable energy goals.
