RUMSL Issues RFP for 170 MW Solar Project in Neemuch Solar Park, Madhya Pradesh

Rewa Ultra Mega Solar (RUMSL) has initiated a request for proposal (RFP) for the establishment of a 170 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project in the Neemuch Solar Park, Madhya Pradesh. The project targets the provision of electricity to Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company (MPPMCL) and West Central Railway (WCR). Interested parties are required to submit their proposals by June 07, 2024, with the bidding process scheduled for the same day. RUMSL / Government of Madhya Pradesh (GoMP) will allocate land for the project based on predefined terms and conditions, covering an area of about 341 hectares within the Neemuch Solar Park. Additionally, RUMSL will furnish power evacuation infrastructure, including a dedicated 33/220 kV outdoor substation, two 110 MVA transformers, and five 220 kV bays, to enable seamless grid connectivity for the project.
