Russell Market in Shivajinagar, is set for a comprehensive renovation. BBMP has floated a tender for preparing a detailed project report (DPR) for the Rs. 40 crore facelift, which aims to restore the market’s heritage look while incorporating modern amenities. The revamped market will feature a parking bay and multilevel vending space, with existing vendors gaining more space, although the number of shops will remain at 450+.
