Rustomjee unveils 500-bed labour housing in Thane

Rustomjee Group has launched a 35,000 sq ft labour housing facility at its Urbania site in Thane, designed to accommodate 500 construction workers across 84 ventilated rooms. The facility includes 29 toilets, 15 bathing stations, UV-treated drinking water, a canteen with 42 stoves, and can serve 280 workers at once. Community-focused features include an open gym, retail outlets, barber shop, crèche, and doctors clinic. Sustainability is ensured via a 40 KLD STP and a 200 kg OWC for waste management.
