Sagar Cements Plans Rs. 470-Crore Multi-Plant Expansion

Sagar Cements is expanding its production capacity across its Jeerabad, Gudipadu, and Dachepalli plants in Andhra Pradesh, adding 0.75 million tonnes by FY27. The Jeerabad unit will see an investment of Rs. 120 crore. At Dachepalli, a six-stage preheater and solar plant have been commissioned, increasing clinker capacity to 2.31 million tonnes. The Rs. 470-crore capex, spread over FY25–FY27, includes WHR and solar projects to enhance renewable energy use.
