Satyam Iron & Steel Company Pvt Ltd proposes to expand its sponge iron plant at Mondalpur, Jamuria, West Bengal. The project includes increasing DRI capacity from 1,15,500 TPA to 2,31,000 TPA with an additional 350 TPD kiln, doubling WHRB-based captive power from 8 MW to 16 MW, and doubling ferro alloy capacity by installing an additional 9 MVA SAF.
