Serula Pumped Storage Project planned to enhance energy storage capacity in Goa

The Serula Pumped Storage Project (SLPSP) is an Off-Stream Closed Loop Pumped Storage development proposed with an installed capacity of 960 MW/6144 MWh. The project involves the construction of upper and lower reservoirs, featuring gross storage capacities of 21.67 MCM (0.77 TMC) and 25.38 MCM (0.90 TMC), respectively. The upper reservoir will have a maximum dam height of 52 meters (from the deepest bed level), while the lower reservoir will be constructed downhill with a maximum height of 45 meters (from the bed level).
