Sher Irrigation Complex Dam-2 Proposed in Seoni

Environmental clearance is sought for the Sher Irrigation Complex Project Dam-2, an irrigation project proposed on the Sher River in Seoni District, Madhya Pradesh. The project aims to irrigate 26,500 hectares of Cultural Command Area (CCA) across 91 villages. It is designed to provide annual water supply for Rabi crop irrigation and additional drinking water to the region.The contract is awarded to VKMCPL-Patel Engineering (JV) in April 2023.
