Shivashakti Sugars seeks EC for sugar factory expansion to 14,000 TCD

Shivashakti Sugars has sought environmental clearance for the expansion of its Sugar Factory from 14,000 TCD to 25,000 TCD and the Cogeneration Plant from 60 MW to 100 MW. Additionally, the company proposes the establishment of a 500 KLPD Distillery Unit (C & B Heavy Molasses/Sugarcane Syrup/Grain-based) along with a 5 MW electricity generation unit. The project is located at Soundatti & Yadrav Village, Taluka Raibag, District Belagavi, Karnataka.
