Singhal Steel Seeks Amendment for 80 MW Power, New Units

Singhal Steel has submitted an application seeking an amendment to its existing Terms of Reference (ToR) for its proposed steel plant at Patarapali, Kotarliya, and Siyarpali villages in Raigarh tehsil and district, Chhattisgarh. The amendment request includes an increase in the Fluidized Bed Combustion (FBC) based power plant capacity from 20 MW to 80 MW. Additionally, the company proposes the installation of a new Electric Arc Furnace (EOF) unit of 1×50 tonnes and a new Vacuum Degassing unit of 1×50 tonnes, aimed at strengthening its steel manufacturing capabilities.
