SJVN’s 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Plant Hits Major 1 Billion Unit Generation Landmark

SJVN Green Energy Limited has generated 1 billion units of power from its 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project in Rajasthan shortly after commissioning. Developed with an investment of over Rs 5,491 crore under the CPSU Scheme, the project is supplying power to multiple states at competitive tariffs and contributing to grid stability. The milestone supports SJVN’s long-term target of achieving 25 GW renewable capacity and highlights the scalability of large solar infrastructure in India’s energy transition.
