Smart Port Development at Kandla Creek

DPA is proposing development of a new smart port facility by converting a 6 km waterfront outside Kandla Creek into a modern cargo handling facility. The project is planned with a capacity of 135 MTPA to handle bulk and break-bulk cargo and is proposed to be implemented through EPC mode. The development will include fully mechanised cargo handling systems, state-of-the-art port infrastructure, and modern technology aimed at reducing vessel turnaround time and supporting growing trade requirements.
