SMC invites bids for ?160.76 crore PMAY housing project at Bhestan

The Surat Municipal Corporation recently initiated the bidding process for the development of EWS-I residential units and commercial shops under the PMAY 2.0-AHP framework at TP Scheme No. 54 (Bhestan), FP No. 71. Valued at ?160.76 crore, this comprehensive project encompasses all civil works, internal and external utility services, and essential infrastructure such as elevators, DG sets, and a dedicated sewage treatment plant. The development aims to provide high-quality, affordable urban housing while ensuring all installations meet the rigorous technical and safety standards set by SMC. Furthermore, the selected contractor will be tasked with integrating modern amenities and sustainable landscaping to foster a holistic living environment for the local community.
