Environmental clearance is sought for an industrial building with a production capacity of 1.2 GW solar cells and 1 GW solar PV modules located at Plot No. DLSZ-04, Domestic Tariff Area, Gopalpur Industrial Park (TATA Steel SEZ), Chamakhandi, Chatrapur, Ganjam, Odisha. The project by Luminous Power Technologies covers a total plot area of 30 acres (12.14 ha) with a built-up area of 48,393 sq.m. The site lies within the TATA Steel SEZ and will house industrial sheds for solar manufacturing operations.
