Sri Venkatesh Iron & Alloys to expand sponge iron production in Ramgarh
Sri Venkatesh Iron And Alloys India Limited
Sri Venkatesh Iron & Alloys (India) proposes an expansion at Lapanga, Bhadaninagar, Ramgarh District, Jharkhand. The project will increase sponge iron production from 120,000 TPA to 180,000 TPA with the addition of 2×100 TPD DRI units. The plant will also switch from induction furnaces to submerged arc furnaces (SAF) for producing Fe-Si/Fe-Mn/Si-Mn/Pig Iron (64,000 TPA), and add a 4 MW CPP (WHRB).
