Subarnarekha Port has proposed development of a greenfield all-weather deep-water port near Chaumukh village, Baliapal Block, District Balasore, Odisha. Phase I of the project will have a handling capacity of 31 MTPA and include navigational channel, breakwaters, four cargo berths and port infrastructure along with supporting connectivity infrastructure such as railway line, road, transmission line and water supply system. Environmental clearance is sought for the proposed port development.
