Sunsure Energy signs solar power agreements with Wonder Cement

Sunsure Energy has solidified a strategic partnership with Wonder Cement through three long-term open access power purchase agreements (PPAs) designed to decarbonize industrial operations in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Under these contracts, Sunsure will supply clean electricity to Wonder Cement’s Dhule and Aligarh facilities from its utility-scale solar farms in Solapur and Augasi. This collaboration leverages India’s open access framework to provide a consistent stream of renewable energy, significantly reducing the manufacturer’s carbon footprint while ensuring long-term energy cost stability through a combined generation capacity tailored for heavy industrial demand.
