SVPI Airport Projects 245% Surge in Passenger Traffic by 2034

Driven by increased investments, connectivity, and travel, passenger traffic at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, is expected to grow by 245%. According to the pre-feasibility report submitted to the government for further expansion, the number of passengers is expected to grow from 1.1 crore in FY 2024 to 3.6 crore by FY 2034. In FY 2024, the airport recorded its highest-ever domestic and international traffic in a single year.
