Tata Power to Develop 13.2 MW Solar Plant for Dr. Abhay Firodia Group Companies

Tata Power Renewable Energy has entered an agreement with Force Motors Ltd and Jaya Hind Industries Pvt Ltd, both part of the Dr. Abhay Firodia Group, to develop a 13.2 MW group captive solar plant in Maharashtra. Under the Group Captive scheme, Force Motors will utilize 6.2 MW AC power, consuming 13.64 million units annually, while Jaya Hind Industries will use 7.0 MW AC power, consuming 15.40 million units per year. The solar plant, located in Achegaon, is expected to annually generate 29.04 million units, reducing carbon emissions by approximately 21,200 metric tonnes. The project aims for completion within 12 months from the signing of the power delivery agreement.
